Created in the fall of 2015 at DePaul University. This was made by myself and a team of four other students. It was a 2D game created in GameMaker where the gameplay was essentially the inverse of the game Brick Breaker. Players were tasked with protecting the tiny civilians by placing bricks in the world that would repel projectiles. The player would have a limited amount of bricks to place but could gain more by picking them up from the civilians. If you could outlast the time limit with at least one civilian left, then the player would advance to the next stage. My role on the team was lead gameplay designer as well as the writer for the game's story. The game was created over the course of two months and was feature complete.
