This game was only made in a matter of 5 weeks in a group of 4 students, yet it managed to accomplish the assignment of class extraordinarily well. Hey Mom was designed with the goal of it being a game centered around "affection", and that was accomplished by appealing to a parent-child relationship that many people can relate with. The game was even showcased at a local event in Chicago. The objective of the game is to traverse a house filled with memories of a child, collecting specific items that relate to each memory. Each item is brought back to a box that will be sent off with the grown up version of that child. My role on the team was game designer, 3D modeler, and some voice work.
